The Diamante Suite, a synthesis of simplicity and sobriety of the old country houses, will give you a precious experience. The suite is so named for a large inner corner with a characteristic diamond cut (now occupied by the sleeping area), which was originally used as a shelter for animals. In fact, long time ago, the trulli were used not only as dwellings but, often and willingly, also as storage for the tools of the peasants, also called ‘‘cozzari’’, and for the protection of their animals. In the niches that open in the thick walls, the animals watered and found food. The narrow corridor, once directly connected to the Alcova suite, was completely covered with straw. Its elements express the whole experience of the country houses of Apulia, donating its guests a holiday in Ostuni in full respect of the local rural style of the decorations and of the precious particularities of the territory! A territory rich in history, tradition, authenticity that for years has been a source of livelihood for its inhabitants and that, even today, offers the opportunity to carry on the local economy with the huge production of exquisite products from farm to fork.

This is a double suite with four-poster bed, a coffee table and two armchairs, bathroom with shower carved into the rock.
